I was hired by M&C Saatchi to illustrate a classic rock and roll style poster for San Diego Zoo's 'Africa Rocks' habitat. M&C Saatchi conceived the concept and designed the layout featuring a penguin, lemur, leopard and baboon as the headline acts.
I illustrated the piece using Procreate for iPad Pro and colored it using Adobe Photoshop for Mac. The image is part of a larger campaign or artwork by M&C Saatchi, which included an animated video and retro poster art. More information about the full campaign can be seen here on Adland.TV
The final art was featured on billboards, posters, vehicle wraps, merchandise and online advertising including the the San Diego Zoo website and social media pages.
